J.R.R Tolkien, looking at flowers. Apparently people hated to go for walks with him because he would stop and look at every tree for like 20 minutes

Forest Fridays (3rd Edition) - Forest Traveler, Karly Murphy
The Forest Fridays feature attempts to highlight different forests from around NH, the U.S., and the world to showcase their unique beauty and characteristics. For the 3rd edition, we are featuring the work of a Virginia-based photographer, Karly Murphy, whose travels have allowed her to photograph forests of many different shapes and sizes. She has captured the hardwood forests of Shenandoah National Park, the hardy and resilient Cypresses in Arkansas, the unique rainbow eucalyptus and monkeypod trees in Hawaii, and the precious native woodlands in Ireland (just to name a few). Click the above links to find out more about the trees and forests in these wonderful places and also be sure to take a look at the rest of Karly’s photographic work on her blog, daisy jars.
